 What is Chardham Yatra?

The Chardham Yatra is an annual Hindu pilgrimage during the summer. It is also called 'Char Dham' because it passes through four holy places: Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath.

The Yatra begins with Yamunotri as the first Dham and then proceeds to Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath, respectively. It opens for 6 months annually, starting in April and closing in November.
